Our Process for Repairing a DC Motor: Methodology and Control in 4 Phases
Upon receiving your DC motor, we conduct a thorough visual inspection of the condition of the commutator and the brushes. Initial electrical measurements are taken to provide an initial assessment of the extent of the damage.
O2
We disassembled the motor completely, separating the rotor from the casing. The wear of the commutator, the condition of the field windings, and the rotor are thoroughly analyzed, and a detailed repair plan and budget are prepared.
O3
With your approval, we proceed with the reconstruction. This includes machining the commutator, rewinding if necessary, replacing bearings and brushes, and precision assembly of the entire set.
O4
Once assembled, the crucial process of settling the new brushes is carried out to ensure perfect contact. Finally, the motor is subjected to tests on the bench, painted, and prepared for delivery with its warranty.
